
As a member of the model product management group at RMS, Kevin is responsible for the development and subject matter support of RMS climate-peril models for the Americas, including product management of the RMS North America Severe Convective Storm and Winterstorm Models. He is also involved with work on the North Atlantic Hurricane model and wildfire hazard products. Prior to RMS, Kevin was a graduate research assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he authored a thesis on tornado-genesis and severe convective storms. Kevin holds a master’s degree in atmospheric science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and bachelor’s degree in atmospheric science from Purdue University. He is a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues (RICOWI, Inc.).
